2021-04-17 1-3pm SGA Needs 6 Convertibles or Jeeps for Homecoming
TJ SGA is requesting convertibles (Jeep, Mini Cooper, Mustang, etc) to use for their second Homecoming Pep Rally on Saturday, April 17th from 1-3PM at TJ. Convertibles will need to arrive at 12:30PM, half an hour before the pep rally begins.
We need six total convertibles, one for each underclassmen class (2024, 2023, 2022) and three for senior class (2021). If we do not receive enough, we may not be able to provide the best Homecoming we can for TJ.
If you have a convertible or Jeep and are willing to allow it to be used during the pep rally please fill out this google form
https://forms.gle/21pUUUqixD5DST4Y7
More details from SGA:
Any convertible will do. We’ve also done pickup trucks before but convertibles are ideal. Parents can either drive it around, or an experienced SGA driver can drive it for them. Cars will be lined up single-file and driven in 1 circle around the track around the football field.

2021-03-19 Class of 2021 Get-Together had 82+ Attendees!
82+ seniors attended this event to see their friends and teachers. Thanks to TJ PTSA members and especially the Huang family for funding these Class of 2021 Get-Togethers. Your generosity enabled TJ PTSA to provide Burritos from Anitas and drinks and snacks/treats for everyone.
There was fun and music, the kids spread out throughout the Franklin and Nobel commons and in the courtyard.
Thanks to the parent volunteers and the TJ staff/faculty/admin who came out to help and especially to SGA for organizing the event.

2021-03-12 6-8pm TJ SGA Friending Frenzy!
Let your students know about this fun event.
From the TJ SGA:
Friendship is in the air! On Friday March 12th from 6:00 – 8:00, SGA will be hosting Friending Frenzy, our first virtual speed meet and greet! This event is for anyone looking to get out there and socialize with others, make some new friends of ALL grade levels, and have a good time! (who knows, maybe you’ll meet that special someone) As the night progresses, we will cycle through three events; Round 1 of one-on-one pairings, a halftime Blind Bachelor/Bachelorette game show event, and Round 2 of pairings. There descriptions of the events are below:
Matching Rounds – Students will be randomly placed in a room within their preferences of grade and gender, where they complete activities while learning about one another’s interests! Each rotation will be only a few minutes, so enjoy each other’s company while it lasts!
Blind Bachelor / Bachelorette Event – Six contestants, three for each contestant, will answer fun, dating questions posed by our Bachelor and Bachelorette, Sean Nguyen and Christine Franklin! The catch: Sean and Christine won’t be able to see the contestants and will have to judge them solely based on their responses. If you would like to be considered to be a contestant, make sure to indicate this on the signup form!
If you’re looking for a laid back way to connect with others, sign up with the Google Form below!
