TJ’s Booster Clubs are parent run volunteer organizations established to promote school programs or complement student groups or activities. The Booster Clubs work through their volunteers to provide assistance for the planned activities of TJ’s students. Support may be as simple as providing refreshments for a particular event or it may be fundraising for an out-of-state competition. 

• TJ Academic Boosters (TJAB) is a parent volunteer organization which supports students and team sponsors participating in academic (8th period) activities at TJHSST. The volunteer team raises funds to support TJ’s academic teams with thousands of dollars every year so that the teams can fund registration expenses for events and pay for their sponsors and/or coaches to travel with them. • TJ Band Boosters represents a community that supports all aspects of TJ Bands.  Parents and guardians of students in any of our band and color guard groups are automatically members of the organization, and are warmly welcomed to participate in our activities.  The primary ways in which we support the students and staff of TJ Bands are volunteering time and skills, and fundraising.  Each year we set aside ¼ or more of our budget for financial aid to ensure that all students who want to participate in the extracurricular groups will not face a financial barrier.

• TJ Crew Boosters organization is comprised of parent volunteers of crew team members and provides funding and support for over 100+ athletes and eight coaches. Our work fosters team spirit and brings team families together. As crew receives no funding from FCPS, we coordinate fundraising efforts to purchase and maintain equipment, pay coaching salaries, and supplement regatta related expenses. Crew is a unique sport that requires dedication and drive, and offers leadership and social opportunities. Many of our athletes have never rowed before their freshman year! • TJ Orchestra Boosters serves to promote interest in orchestra, music, and related activities at TJ, to support the activities of TJ’s Philharmonia and Symphonic Orchestras, and to provide other services where possible. Please visit the TJ Orchestra Boosters website for more information.
• TJ Theater Arts (TJTA) Boosters is a non-profit organization aimed at supporting theater education at TJHSST. This includes publicizing the program’s shows, fundraising for special equipment, and providing meal options for students during Tech Week.
