If you arrived at this link from an email sent by onetjhsst@gmail.com<\/strong>, know that that group is engaged in fraudulent <\/strong>activity. They are sending unsolicited <\/strong>emails to people while claiming the recipient has opted in on their website. I received such an email without ever opting in on their website. I don’t even know where their website is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, they are using the school’s mailing address fraudulently<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve filed abuse reports with mailchimp <\/em>and with google<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Bonitatibus has confirmed that she is not aware of any such group and has sent an email to their address asking them to stop using the schools physical mailing address. She contributed the following to the mailchimp <\/em>abuse report I filed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for the response and support. I am confirming that the group in question has put an unauthorized copyright with our school\u2019s name, has sent emails to nonsubscribers, and is not authorized to use our school\u2019s physical address in their communications. These actions of claiming to be affiliated with our school and being physically located at our school present a potential safety risk. We appreciate you addressing this matter.<\/p>

I would suggest you block that email address and submit your own abuse reports to mailchimp <\/em>and to abuse@gmail.com<\/em> if you did not opt in to receive their emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would also suggest you not click any other links in their email since we have no idea who the senders are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is nothing wrong with people campaigning for their candidates, but this group is being deceptive with how they selected the email recipients (we clearly didn’t opt in on their website, they don’t seem to have a website), and with their physical mailing address (using the school’s address without authorization from the school, even as the Principal has explicitly asked them not to do so).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is how to report abuse to google<\/a> (in this case, send email to abuse@gmail.com and reference the onetjhsst@gmail.com account).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is how to report abuse to mailchimp<\/a>. Basically, forward the email to abuse@mailchimp.com and provide details (you did not opt in to receive this email, and they are using the school’s mailing address fraudulently – you can copy the screenshot of Dr. Bonitatibus’ email above for evidence).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
