Hey TJ! Come and celebrate Diwali, the Indian festival of lights, at TJ on Friday, November 22nd after school from 4:30 – 7:00 pm (tentative) in Nobel Commons. Celebrate the week before thanksgiving by hanging out after school with your friends, enjoying some amazing Indian food and performances, and all while we come together to celebrate this amazing festival! Interested in performing? We are looking for student acts of any size and shape to perform at this event; performances can include Indian dancing, singing, and other acts! Please sign up here. Reminder about Cultural Celebrations:
During the 2023-2024 term, the PTSA board voted to return ownership of cultural celebrations to student clubs to foster a culture of engagement among our students and allow students to plan cultural celebrations to reflect a student-centered vision of inclusion. These changes were effective June 15, 2024. PTSA will continue to support cultural celebrations through Student Club Support grants and the application forms and process have been shared to the clubs via school.
